The students acquire a basic understanding of how various classes of computer tools behave and a confidence about being able to learn to use new tools that will support their learning of new software applications.

As a today, Information of Technologies (IT) has affected all society within economic, social and educational structure. Technology has played an important role in assisting the educational process.

The United States stays one step ahead of my country, Turkey. On January 8th, 2002, President Bush signed the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001. (1) This signed bring in a lot of programs. The programs goals are improve student achievement through use to technology. In exactly the same way in Turkey, after 1980 Turkish government supported for develop of computers. Until now over 20.000 computers were bought by government for giving the schools. (2)

Using technology in education is very fresh idea in Turkey. However, favorite of technology for class is smart blackboards. These are very useful a helpful for students and teachers. They can easily catch in syllabuses. They can do experiments which are not being able to do in the classroom. Also, students can be more active in the class.

The computers also help students with disability and gifted child. They can be more active in the classroom. Technology eliminates discrimination in the schools.

The most important things is teachers have to be prepared for using technology effectively.
